Robert Agarwal, CTP, CIRA
Managing Director
Robert Agarwal is a restructuring and insolvency professional with more than twenty-five years of experience advising debtors, creditor committees, trustees, and financial institutions in complex bankruptcy and special asset situations. His background spans hands-on restructuring execution, fiduciary roles, and advisory engagements across a wide range of distressed and high-stakes environments. A former Deputy Assistant Director of Oversight within the U.S. Department of Justice’s United States Trustee Program, he oversaw bankruptcy trustees nationwide and directed regulatory oversight across the federal system.
He brings a rare combination of restructuring execution experience, fiduciary and regulatory oversight, and financial discipline developed through decades of responsibility for outcomes in complex and time-sensitive situations.
Robert has led numerous crisis management and restructuring engagements, both in and out of court, helping organizations and stakeholders evaluate alternatives, stabilize operations, and maximize recoveries. His experience spans workouts and reorganizations, creditor committee advisory, liquidations, wind-downs, and plan administration, with direct involvement in financial and operational analysis, on-site oversight, forecasting, valuation, and execution. Most recently, Robert served as Deputy Assistant Director of Oversight for the United States Trustee Program, where he oversaw approximately 1,200 bankruptcy trustees nationwide across all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. In this role, he directed regulatory oversight and enforcement across the United States and its territories, ensuring compliance, accountability, and effective administration of bankruptcy estates. He also held roles at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, where he oversaw approximately $17 billion of distressed loans and guarantees, leading recovery strategies, restructurings, and complex dispute resolution efforts. Previously, Robert held senior roles at Executive Sounding Board Associates, CBIZ Corporate Recovery Services, and Navigant Consulting, serving in fiduciary and advisory capacities across dozens of distressed companies. In these roles, he led restructuring engagements, recovery efforts, and complex dispute resolutions, including matters related to Madoff-associated claims. Stephen Judge
Managing Director
Stephen Judge is an operational finance and restructuring executive with more than thirty years of experience leading financial and operational turnarounds across complex, underperforming organizations. His background includes senior leadership roles in public and private companies, where he has driven restructuring, liquidity management, and operational stabilization initiatives.
He brings a hands-on, execution-focused approach to interim management, combining financial discipline with practical operating experience to restore performance, improve visibility, and support stakeholders through periods of transition and uncertainty.

Stephen has held executive-level finance and operational leadership roles across a range of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, and industrial services. His experience centers on stabilizing underperforming businesses, implementing financial controls, and leading organizations through restructuring, wind-down, and performance improvement initiatives. He has served as Chief Financial Officer of Winner Group, a diversified regional management company, and as Vice President of Administration and Controller of Matlack Systems (NYSE: MLK), where he played a key leadership role during the company’s Chapter 11 wind-down and liquidation of assets. In this capacity, he acted in a restructuring leadership role, overseeing financial operations, managing stakeholder communication, and supporting execution of the liquidation strategy. Earlier in his career, Stephen held senior finance and systems leadership roles at Avery Dennison (NYSE: AVY), where he was responsible for financial operations and reporting within a multinational division generating approximately $175 million in annual revenue. He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand, developing a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and controls. Across his career, Stephen has worked closely with lenders, management teams, and advisors to implement financial discipline, improve reporting and forecasting capabilities, and support decision-making in complex operating environments. His experience includes liquidity management, budgeting and forecasting, operational restructuring, and the establishment of reporting frameworks that enhance transparency and accountability.
